Volunteers answer our phones 7 days a week, although our voice mail recording states we ask for two business days to respond to calls. We have a detailed handbook for the volunteers that answer the phones with information on how to handle many different types of calls. The volunteer for the phones also answers emails, and social media messages.

The handbook also has follow up texts and emails that can be sent to individuals with resources and information that callers may find helpful.
