Assistance with veterinary care

The most common call we receive is from people needing assistance with veterinary care for their pets. The form people fill out for assistance is the same as the form for monthly deliveries and also requires proof of income. If the situation is urgent we often waive the need for proof of income.

Clients are able to schedule appointments with a veterinarian of their choice and we provide $100-$150 (depending on how many recent requests we’ve had) towards the bill if we are given advance notice. For clients who do not have a veterinarian, we encourage them to use Southwest Veterinary Hospital since we have worked with them the most.

We receive calls from individuals needing to euthanize their pet and we assist with these expenses as well. The city of Norman does provide this service and we provide clients with that option.
